Terminal 2 - Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai

Story of this photo

I have never traveled outside India. When our Jet Airways flight to Aurangabad was departing from the international terminal in Mumbai Airport, I had no clue about the visual treat that awaited me. The international terminal of Chhatrapati Shivaji airport of Mumbai is nothing less than a wonderland. It is so splendorous and artistically designed. You can spend hours and hours together in Mumbai airport, admiring the paintings, art installations, mini gardens and luxury cars. My personal favorite at Mumbai airport is the light in the shape of flower blooms. They look so serene and beautiful in various stages of blooming. It was like they came out from a fairy tale. I could stop admiring them. I remembered a poem by John Keats.

A thing of beauty is a joy for ever:
Its loveliness increases; it will never
Pass into nothingness; but still will keep
A bower quiet for us, and a sleep
Full of sweet dreams, and health, and quiet breathing.
